Watch Care
Operating Guidelines
These guidelines help you get the best performance and longevity from your APEX watch.
Using the crown (NH35 movement)
Step 1 — Unscrew the crown Gently turn the crown counter‑clockwise until it releases from the case. This is the neutral position (Position 0).
Step 2 — Manual winding (Position 0) In the neutral position, turn the crown clockwise to wind the movement. Around 20–30 turns is enough from a stopped state. Stop when you feel natural resistance.
Step 3 — Set the date (Position 1) Pull the crown out one click. Turn clockwise to change the date. Avoid adjusting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as the date mechanism is engaged during this period.
Step 4 — Set the time (Position 2) Pull the crown out one more click. The seconds hand will stop (hacking). Turn the crown in either direction to set the time.
Step 5 — Push the crown back in Press the crown fully back toward the case. The seconds hand will restart.
Step 6 — Screw the crown down While pressing the crown in, turn it clockwise to engage the threads. Tighten until snug — not forced. A properly secured crown helps maintain moisture resistance.
General Care Guidelines
-
Cleaning — Wipe the case and bracelet with a soft microfiber cloth. Use mild soapy water only on metal bracelets.
-
Avoid chemicals — Perfumes, solvents, and cleaning agents can damage coatings, seals, and straps.
-
Magnetism — Keep the watch away from strong magnetic fields (speakers, laptops, phone cases).
-
Storage — Store in a dry place, ideally in a watch box or pouch to prevent scratches.
-
Strap care — Leather should be kept dry. Metal bracelets can be rinsed and dried thoroughly.
-
Temperature — Avoid extreme heat or cold, as rapid temperature changes can affect seals and accuracy.
-
Servicing — Mechanical watches benefit from periodic servicing to maintain performance.
