Refund policy

At APEX Watch Mods, every watch is hand‑assembled with care, precision, and attention to detail. Because each piece is custom‑built to order, our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and respectful to both the customer and the craftsmanship involved.


1. Refunds & Cancellations

Custom‑Built Watches

All watches are built to order. For this reason, we do not offer refunds or cancellations once a build has begun.

If you need to cancel before work has started, contact us immediately within 24 hours. Approval depends on whether your build has entered the assembly queue.

Completed Orders

Once a watch has been assembled, shipped, or delivered, refunds are not available unless the item is defective or arrives damaged.


2. Returns for Faulty or Defective Items

If your watch arrives damaged or develops a fault within the warranty period, we will:

  • Repair the watch, or

  • Replace the defective component, or

  • Offer a replacement watch if the issue cannot be repaired

To qualify, the issue must be:

  • A manufacturing or assembly defect

  • Not caused by misuse, impact, water damage, or unauthorised modifications

You must notify us within 7 days of delivery with clear photos or videos of the issue.


3. No Returns for Modding‑Related Limitations

Because our watches use aftermarket components and custom modifications:

  • Seiko or other manufacturers may refuse to service modded watches

  • We do not accept returns for personal preference issues, such as:

    • Colour differences

    • “Changed my mind”

    • Size preference

    • Style preference

Each build is unique and assembled specifically for you.


4. Warranty — 24 Months

All APEX Watch Mods builds include a 24‑month movement warranty covering:

  • NH‑series movement failure

  • Mechanical defects not caused by impact or water exposure

The warranty does not cover:

  • Water damage

  • Scratches, wear, or cosmetic marks

  • Damage caused by drops, impacts, or misuse

  • Third‑party modifications or opening the case


5. Shipping Issues

If your package is lost or damaged during shipping:

  • We will open an investigation with the courier

  • Replacements are issued once the claim is confirmed

  • Incorrect addresses provided by the customer are not covered


6. How to Start a Return or Warranty Claim

Email us with:

  • Your order number

  • Photos or videos of the issue

  • A description of the problem

We aim to respond within 24–48 hours.


7. Final Notes

By placing an order with APEX Watch Mods, you acknowledge that:

  • You are purchasing a custom‑built modded watch

  • Refunds are not available for completed builds

  • Warranty covers mechanical defects only

  • Modded watches may not be eligible for manufacturer servicing
